Reliable Data Capture and Transmission
Evigia’s EVX1000 Series products provide wide-area coverage based on 2.4GHz modules. The EVX platform completely and cost-effectively capture and transmit data over cellular and satellite communications networks.
Optimized for IoT Applications
The EVX1000 modules’ wireless physical layer is IEEE802.15.4 compatible and interoperable. It communicates over an enhanced, energy-efficient 6LoWPAN (IPv6 over Low-Power Wireless Personal Area Networks) open-standards mesh protocol. The modules are optimized for sensor data networks and sensor events captures and alerts.
Self-configured and Self-healing
Each sensor node includes sensing, networking, and data routing functions. The network includes battery-powered cellular and satellite gateways with truly global Iridium coverage. The sensor network system is fully self-configured with reliable self-healing wireless communications.
No Field Maintenance for 10+ Years
The sensor nodes use solar panel recharge to operate for 10 to 20 years without need for maintenance in rugged outdoor environments. The operation temperature range is -40°C to 80°C in an IP68 water-immersible environment. The nodes are built to Mil810 specifications for vibration and shock tolerance.
Modular, Adaptable, and Expandable
The single mesh link between two sensor nodes can extend up to 1,200 feet with a compact internal antenna– and can reach 5,000 feet using an external antenna. The system supports multiple sensors, and is highly modular and expandable. New sensors and features can be added through standard digital and analog expansion ports.
